Lagotto Romagnolo

At Lagottino Kennel, we breed Lagotto Romagnolos- a rare, ancient breed of water retriever that comes from the Romagna sub-region of Italy. Known for their keen sense of smell, they are the only dog in the world bred specifically to find truffles. They are a medium sized hypoallergenic dog. Their coats are wooly and wonderful! Colours include cream (some with apricot ears), roan (dark brown), and patchie (cream and brown or orange markings). Aprox. size; 16-19 inches tall; 11-16kg (24-35lbs). They are very loyal and loving and are happiest with a family that spends time with them engaging in physical and metal exercise. 

About Us

Roz has been breeding Lagotto Romagnolo's since 2006, registered kennel since 2007, and is responsible for helping getting them recognized with the Canadian Kennel Club. Running a local Delta BC based business, Sparkle Bark as a Canine oral hygienist, Roz's love for animals is expressed in everything she does.
